Ex-Cowboys DT Trysten Hill arrested for assaulting pregnant person
Former NFL defensive tackle Trysten Hill was arrested on March 26 and booked into an Ellis County, Texas, jail on charges of assault of a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency request for assistance. He was held on a $3,500 bond tied to two bond-forfeiture warrants from a 2025 criminal investigation. Hill appeared to grin in his booking photo.
The Ellis County Sheriff's Office jail records confirmed the charges. FOX 4 in Dallas obtained the records. Neither the alleged victim's identity nor any relationship to Hill has been disclosed.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Hill in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Central Florida. He played in 25 regular-season games for the Cowboys over four seasons, recording 39 combined tackles. Hill later joined the Arizona Cardinals midway through 2022, where he posted five solo tackles and one sack in six games.
Hill signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2023 but was released before the regular season. He joined the New England Patriots practice squad later that year and appeared in a preseason game against the Carolina Panthers in August 2024.
