Danielle Fishel offers to tag with Danhausen at WWE Backlash
Danielle Fishel, star of "Boy Meets World," proposed herself as Danhausen's mystery tag team partner for WWE Backlash. She made the offer in an Instagram post with a photo of herself wearing Danhausen's signature face paint, captioning it, "Just saying, we have history." Danhausen replied with crying-laughing emojis.
Fishel, a prominent wrestling fan often spotted at WWE events, attended the company's first "Monday Night Raw" on Netflix in January 2025 and Survivor Series at Petco Park in San Diego on Nov. 29, 2025. Danhausen faces Kit Wilson and The Miz in a tag match at Backlash and requires a partner. Social media speculation has included CM Punk, John Cena, Shane McMahon and Stephen A. Smith; CM Punk reacted with a shocked-face emoji, while Wilson commented, "I think we might fall out."
WWE broadcaster Michael Cole described the partner this week as somebody who loves money. The event features additional matches including Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu, Trick Williams defending the United States Championship against Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins against Bron Breakker, and Iyo Sky against Asuka.
Backlash takes place in Tampa, Florida, at 6 p.m. ET and airs on ESPN programming.
